Is credit & debit cards made of plastic? Can you wash them?

They're plastic but the chip's metal. I'd imagine they are wipe-clean at least. What did you do to it?

I think it's best to wipe them clean with a damp cloth.

I'd say a dry cloth is a better idea. Anything moist might damage the chip.
