‘I Am’ is a brutally honest and revelatory documentary series

I saw the first episode last week, which was the story told by a woman who was infected (deliberately, by a criminal) with HIV at a very young age several decades ago, and how after much suffering she went on to become a world leader in making presentations for the humanising of women with HIV. It was remarkable, told without sensationalising, factual and of a much better quality than most documentary programs in recent years.
This week on Tuesday night 19 June (NZ time/date) on Television New Zealand, it's the second episode - the Asperger's episode. If it is even half as well made as the first episode then it will be impressive.
