This POS (to be nice and use the abbreviation) is related to me... My whole family talks about how shameful this is. The article doesn't mention the abused child was his own granddaughter. The child's father, this sick man's own son, was one of my close friends growing up. :x

I have a couple of those in my family. One is in prison; the other is not. Grrr!!

In my family, they know how to screw you up without going to prison or even getting a bad reputation.

You also have my sympathies. It's so disgusting how awful people can be towards others.

As for POS, I have two in my family; both are my uncles who are redneck, blue-collar, hillbilly types who make me uncomfortable whenever they visit.

They do not call ahead of time nor have accepted the fact that I am focusing on completing my degree requirements while at the same time getting help looking for work through my state's VR Services.

So yes, both are d-bags I want nothing to do with.

As a former friend (as this clown is a drunk and a drug-addled jackass) has told me several times, family are the only people who know how to push your buttons. Unfortunately, he’s absolutely right! I’ve tried extending the olive branch to my brothers, only to have them turn around and beat my fat ass with said olive branch.
