I was used to read this french comics when I was kid, I didn't even notice the striking similarities till I saw this video:

"Valérian et Laureline" started in 1969, years before Star Wars.

Have you ever read Jack Kirby's Fourth World comics from the late 60s/early 70s? The characters drew power from something called The Source, and there was a character named Mark Moonrider.

No, I didn't , access to American comics was limited back in time - I used to read these in the 90s :lol: : http://i26.tinypic.com/35k3o5d.jpg

Plus the French-beligum comics like Valerian, Tintin...etc


Are you saying Lucas took the idea of Jedis from the Fourth World?
