Some message boards track IP address. (This is because many times boards are SPAMed and they need the ability to shut down SPAM.) The IP address will give the general physical location where the message came from. Therefore if your account was hacked, provided this website tracks IP, then the moderators should be able to verify where the hacking originated from. They should also be able to block the hacker's IP address.
So can you identify which of your posts appears to have been hacked?

What events alerted you to possible account hacking?
Have you been notified by
-your antivirus protection provider?
-Windows defender/browser provider?
or is your suspicion based on things you noticed?
If the last one, what did you notice?

Hackers do not typically use their own IP address, unless they are a novice.

Antivirus, nor Windows nor browser "provider", will not alert a user if their online account for a website has been compromised.
Websites, given their security is up-to-date and that they utilize the latest gifts of cybersecurity, can notify users if someone has logged into their account from another location and therefore alert users if their account has been compromised or if there has been an attempt to log into said account from a different IP or location. An example of a website that has this capability would include the Apple ID login, in which they will notify users if there has been a login attempt from another IP and then lock the user's account until the user can verify whether or not that said login was authorized by the user. From what I understand, this website does not have such a feature (and given what I know from a previous incident involving my account, this website's security needs some working on).

Edit:
Could this be the problem you're having, OP?

I tried to access my account weeks ago, on a different PC, and found I couldn't. I didn't realise I was auto signed in on this one, so I assumed my account was banned or deleted and stopped trying. Recently I tried again, and managed to get in, but some of the things on my profile I don't remember writing; my date of birth is wrong, and it looks like I've answered posts that I'm pretty sure I haven't, but they're the kind that have so many responses it is difficult and time consuming to go through the thread to look for them.
This sounds like an internal systemic glitch that happened around that time. Do you have anything new happening now?
If you can find a post that you think someone else might have made, though your username is on it, then please report it using the report button so that admin can review and check it.

Your profile lists the actual posts you've made. You don't need to go through the threads to read them.
