I was thinking of the public broadcasting companies of the commonwealth nations and realised their acronyms are ABC, BBC, and CBC.

I didn't notice how cute that is until just this moment.

You could probably go through the whole alphabet if it was worldwide

There's just something about those three together, the pattern that the acronyms make...I want to say "symmetrical", but that's not the right word. "Synchronous", maybe? There is something about the pattern of letters in those three acronyms together in that order that I just find really pleasing. They make a nice set. There are three of them, they each have three letters, and how the pattern of letters relate to each other in sequence--A to B to C. All of that just delights me, rather irrationally I suppose.

Does that happen to you sometimes, you have a moment where you realize you have known something consciously for a long time, but it suddenly appears to your mind in a new light that you never saw before--and then sometimes afterwards you feel kind of dumb for taking so long to notice the feature of the thing you've known for a long time? I'm almost 40 and I'm still noticing little things like these patterns and then feeling silly for not having noticed them before. Sometimes I feel like I am an observant person and other times I feel like I'm rather slow on the uptake.

Yeah but's it usually with people ( narcs ). I have either got more autistic with age or have just become more self aware so maybe it's that with you.

I study acronyms quite a bit, since I am a word person, and those patterns interests me, too.
