People are too afraid to think for themselves.

A lot of them are on the left and cal themselves Democrats.
Bunch in the right too.
Democrats are elitist who only Carr about themselves too. People here act like the Democrats are all Jesus walking around helping the poor and not rich elite stuffing their pockets.
Democrats call for illegal immigrants from their mansions al why having security and refusing to open their mansions for refugees and homeless and keeping their money. Democrats take 500million dollar vacations, buy billion dollar yachts and mansions. They just as bad as rich republicans.

I'm a lifelong Democrat, and I've never set foot into a mansion, let alone owned one.

Neither have most republicans
You’re also not a senator/congressman ceo of a tech company or celebrity so what, doesn’t change the fact that the people who run the party are all filthy rich elitists, so I don’t see why you brought it up. Like you not being rich somehow makes all the rich elites who run the dnc not exist 0.o

I never said that. I was just responding your charge that Democrats were elitists.
Incidentally, the right enjoys denigrating the intellectual elite much more than they have ever gone after financial elitists. As far as I know, they might just consider me to be one of the intellectual elitists as I am college educated, and am a published author. If so, I would wear that designation as a badge of pride.

Both parties are the 'elite'

And yet only one of them get's endorsed by neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan, and builds concentration camps for children in the south Texas desert.

Well no. Both parties had the detention centres. Both parties supported the massive concentration camp in Gaza. Both parties supported the genocidal war in Yemen. Stalin fans could support the Democrats, it wouldn't mean the Democrats supported Stalin.

The question as to whether fascism is left or right is frequently used to trigger distraction in debates like these, whether intentionally or not. Personally, I think fascism (which can come from anywhere in the political spectrum) can in hindsight and foresight be determined by its goals and what kind of power it approves of; both of these will show a distinctive commonality, whether the head fascist arrives from the left, the right, backwards or forwards.

Mussolini for example described fascism as “All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.” Does this sound like the "America First" ideas and ambitions?

What kind of power was Mussolini’s focus? (Domination, unlimited personal power and control) Personally I think they are pretty much hallmarks, though they are not the only factors.

(Intellectual debates on fascism in political science circles tend to disregard the distractions of partisanism altogether, referring to fascism instead as "the third way" or some other descriptor to put a fence around, and keep the focus on, the critical issues).

Definitely sounds like the current liberal establishment not wanting to let go of power and creating propaganda of 'Russian meddling'.

Both parties have supported neo Nazi death squads in South America in the past. It will never change if people keep voting for the same 2 crooked parties.

I would have to agree that the history of USA's covert operations over the decades in Central and South America has been consistently shameful, to the point of unconscionable and indefensible actions, regardless of electoral outcomes in the USA during that time.

I am still suspicious about the extent to which this is still occurring and the unseen impacts of it, though that is another topic.

Oh it continues.

But the worst is happening now under our eyes while we argue over porn stars. Yemen, the poorest country in the Middle East is being decimated but people only started caring when a Washington Post journalist was killed. The Democrats supported Al Qaeda in Syria and Libya. The same group the US claimed they went into the Middle East to destroy.

The inhumane and vicious attack on the non-Sunni population in Yemen is a disgrace of unspeakable proportions. It was conceived of and implemented by Mr Bone Saw.

If anything good can come out of Mr. Keshougi's (spelling) murder, perhaps American involvement with the Saudis in Yemen - and everything else - will come to an end.

That is probably the first thing you have ever said that I agree with. You have a chance to put pressure on your member of Congress for that. Please do contact them if you can.
