Amazing.

I still haven't gotten over the shock from hearing about the discovery some decades ago that "trees talk to each other" via putting out air born molecules (usually to warn about insect attacks).

Didn't even know bacteria could "talk"(I realize that that's a bit of poetic license, but still), much less that viruses (far smaller and more rudimentary than bacteria) could eves drop on them.
