this is probably very incorrect but i thought it was funny :p

import thoughts

def overthinking():

if overthinking == 0:
overthinking = thoughts

else:

if overthinking > 0:
thoughts.exit(overthinking())

it's correct, just missing indentation. Couldn't resist reformating, sorry :D

Code:
import thoughts

def overthinking():
    if overthinking == 0:
        overthinking = thoughts
    elif overthinking > 0:
        thoughts.exit(overthinking())

So is this a garbage collection algorithm or does it also cruft itself? I don't want to let this anywhere near $PATH before I'm sure.

I made this up, I'm not an actual coder so it's really just a joke. don't be afraid of it. but if you don't trust me don't use it!

I believe that one is also a joke.

Oh I'm a coder sometimes if I should happen to feel like it. Most days I just break or fix other people's code.

damn AI is gonna have a hard time coding emotions and subtle meanings! the human brain is struggling as is!

or maybe AI will get so good at mind reading it will know what we are thinking.... before we think it xD

To be fair, my joke was very subtle, and given it is not uncommon for some of our posters here to miss a joke, it's understandable how you arrived at the conclusion that you did. Honestly, I'm not sure if I get jokes because I somehow understand some portion of the unwritten, or if it's just due to simple recognition of patterns previously encountered.

Maybe with that simple pattern recognition AI will surprise us sooner than we think.
