Good afternoon,

I'm new, just starting out here. I've finally accepted that I'm either a high-functioning autist, or I have a dozen other conditions that mimic the symptoms perfectly, lol. It's hard to accept, cause nobody wants a life-long condition. It's been very hard for my friends to accept to, to the point that I had to abandon some of them when they wouldn't stop with the whole "You just need to try harder" stuff. :skull:

But anyways, I'm here and I look forward to learning more. Thanks and have a good day.

Could be the original spelling of Tennessee.

Happy to meet you.

I've had the same thing. A lot of people only want to be in my life if I do what they want me to, or what they think is "normal." Some have been nicer since I've discovered what I have about myself, others worse.

I've been though your area on I-75 going from Ohio to Florida when I was young. I remember buying fireworks at the TN/KY state line. I only made it to the National Park once... but I really loved it. I would like to go back.

The original spelling would have been in a Native American script, if one existed in that part of America. The name of the state is quite clearly native rather than European in origin, rather like Massachusetts.

Welcome to WP, and I can understand the apprehension when the possibility of being diagnosed with a life-long condition is involved.
