Does anyone here have this experience?

Where you get treated as a nuisance or a complainer or even an enemy because of what sensitivity or sensitivities you have?
Where other people don't understand and aren't willing to "put up" with you because of your sensitivities and the accommodations that have to be made for you?

Yes. That's one of the reasons I now live in California and all of my relatives live east of the Mississippi.

my problems and issues had been being discarded systematically, up to a point that i had no idea i actually have special needs. as in, everything was declared a caprice etc. accomodations? my ass. i had to accomodate for adults around me.

I def relate to that. My parents knew since I was a toddler that I was on the spectrum & had other issues & disabilities but they were on my back about lots of things related to em like sensory issues & being a very picky eater. Mom often gripped about how she had to cook special meals for me & she accused me of complaining about things a lot.

Same here.
As I child I was believed to be "hysterical for no reason, probably better off if spanked more".
I hated to be "hysterical" so I xp-ed my self control to the point of seriously messing up my mental health.
Thought I must say that when I learned to acknowledge my neurology, my parents sort of learned to respect it, or at least they try. My inlaws required an amount of fight before learning my needs are different than theirs, for when I tried to put it politely, they seemed not to notice anything. But finally even they learned not to push me.

As a child and a teen I was always called a "moaning mini", which I began to resent. I would often complain about lots of things and nobody listened, all they could say was "oh stop moaning". By the time I was about 20 I learnt how to not moan so much, but it's still hard not to moan when I want to express myself.

When I was in college, I got upset with this girl in my group. It was because everyone in the group were talking amongst themselves, and the tutor was giving out sheets of paper for us to take home, and I jokingly said, "more paper? As if my bag isn't cluttered enough!" And this girl suddenly yelled across the room, "Jo, do you ever stop moaning?!" in a nasty sort of way. I got angry, because A, I don't consider what I was doing was moaning, and B, I wasn't even talking to her. I felt like it was an unnecessary personal attack. I started off in a good mood that day, but as soon as that girl said that, I felt despondent for the rest of the day.
