I'm a very strong visual thinker, perhaps ninety percent images and ten percent words. I have to do quite a lot of translation to get my visual thoughts into words which can be quite exhausting at times.

My (NT) friend is an extreme verbal thinker. She cannot visualise things at all. She is however an exceptionally good communicator.

On another thread a couple of people mention that they are pattern thinkers. Whilst I can understand the concept of verbal thinking, I really struggle to understand what pattern thinking might be like.

Are any of the pattern thinkers here able to explain what it is like to think in patterns? I realise that I am asking for an explanation of what is simply normal for some people but I am just curious as to what it is like if anyone can explain.
