Copacabana - Barry Manilow

"When she finished, he called her over ...."

I always thought it was "he called her Rover".

Woof!

What's a lepress? Is it a female lepur

could be either...a female leopard (like a "tigress"), or a female human with leprosy.

Misheard and actual lyrics taken from the 1982 'Toto' song, 'Africa.'

Actual lyrics from Toto's Africa: "As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti."

Misheard as: "As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like a lepress above the Serengeti."

Another notable feature with this awesome song (with the above lyrics). The lyrics seem quite wordy to read (let alone to sing) - yet these seemingly wordy lyrics were sung beautifully!

It is an awesome song. And other artists have run with it in awesome ways. Like this accapella group who managed to work it seamlessly into a medley of Christmas songs.

The lyrics of Head Cha La from Dragon Ball Z (the Japanese opening) sound like

"I need a funky gay monkey"

Of course the actual lyrics are in another language

Not gonna lie - I've likely played this 500 times in the last week.
No exaggeration.
When I'm in the car I play it at full-volume, shouting along.
(In the house with headphones, I restrain myself)

When Colm says

Another day, another destiny
This never-ending road to Calvary

I purposely sing

"This never-ending road to Calgary ...."

I know it's wrong, but it's more fun.
I miss Calgary and I love Colm.
