The catchy, upbeat melody, those magnificent compressed horns. The Revolver album had so many tunes unlike any hitherto heard on a rock album--and Sgt. Pepper's was still a year away. The song is not about a girl, BTW, but about Paul's new love affair with weed.

I remember listening to "Mrs. Robinson" when I went on a picnic in Cunningham Park (a local Queens park) when I was 7 years old. I think we had three-legged races and potato sack races and stuff like that.

A different version was done in the movie "The Graduate."
