I say you shouldn't care what people say or think. I wear a hoodie that proudly says I have autism and people don't bother me.

I did when I was younger, but I grew out of it when I got older. However, I still love plush toys with all my heart, especially cute ones. I have lots of plushies.

I've never been a stuffed animal type person, but I do have a tiny cat on a chain on my backpack as a kind of mascot.
So I guess I do carry around a stuffed animal.
It's Jiji the anime cat, which was given to me as a gift before I did my first ever long haul flight.

Sometimes I take my plushies out with me.
However the 100cm shark is a bit big to take out! :D

I always pack a plush when I travel, not weird at all. If you're feeling self conscious, you can carry key chain size plushies and hide them in a bag or backpack.
