She was one of my favorite female characters as a kid but other kids in my school didn't like her and neither did my brothers. Now I think it was because she was a feminist and she didn't fit into her gender role because she was a tomboy and she doesn't dress lady like and only dresses casual. Plus she survived every situation every male character had died in and even fought off raptors assuming that was how she lost her pink blouse and why she was bleeding at her shoulder. Steven Spielberg made her that way in the script changing her entire character from the novel to make her a hero. But she was one of those women who was staying with a man who didn't want kids hoping he would change his mind. But in the 3rd movie it was clear he didn't want kids of his own so I assume that was why they were no longer together and she got kids she wanted but with another guy. Now there is a rumor she might return to Jurassic World 3.

I liked her.
