I often feel a need to run through a certain routine of thoughts in order to ease anxieties (even though, in many cases, I can't actually specify what the anxieties are, just that they are there).

Ah... Do you find like I do that you feel on edge or stressed but do not always know why? For me this may lead to energy loss (Shutdown). While often I can trace the cause easily like my brother suddenly announcing he needs my help and I am not ready for it, but sometimes I can be feeling really good on a nice sunny day and out of the blue I get what I now believe to be a shutdown... I have to lie down and wait to recover.

Apologise. Just realize this is "Intrusive thoughts" thread.
