Looks like liberalism is losing its foothold.

I quite like New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Arden. She seems like a pretty impressive politician. I also like Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. She would have made a much better job of negotiating Brexit than any other senior politician in the UK.

Well in the 1930s we had far right governments or leaders in Italy, Germany, Japan, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Yugoslavia.

In 2020 we have Trump, Johnson and a dozen far right political leaders in Europe.

These things happen in cycles I guess....stupidity and ignorance that is...

When you flood Europe with millions from the third world what do you expect.

'Liberalism' created Trump, Brexit and Johnson. They never learn ANYTHING

We can't make fun of Trump anymore.

I once talked to my friend about politics and she said 'I know nothing about politics except that Boris Johnson is stupid'.

There's always Macron and Merkel to look up to.

Merkel will be gone soon as her health seems to be declining judging by recent public appearances. As for Macron, don’t make me laugh!

Which leaders do you like?

As for Merkel, I think she's stepping down in 2021.

Not many. I like ideas not politicians. In order to be good at politics, you often struggle to remain a good, selfless person. But it feels like they're going downhill fast. I blame Big Brother and Towie and social media.

A lot of what would make my ideal leader makes an aspie and aspies aren't popular people. I'd want someone who had strong principles, stuck to them, wasn't conniving, agreed with me politically and was intelligent in the way they expressed themselves. These politicians are more like the first two or three of those but less like the rest. Some strong principles are bad it's just I respect Boris telling people how he thinks so I don't have to guess.

I think it's very insulting to compare Abe Lincoln, the man who abolished slavery, to a stupid RACIST as*hole who has brought back the use of internment camps.
