This is the non-people cat that my grandmother

I found this part of the trip mostly a planning
and setting up part.

512mb ram to my better case'd Wallstreet
PBG3 unit for travel and relocation purposes.
b)...Re-arranged my comics, and added a

d)...Resusitated(revived) my spare PBG3 for
the CDRW external Scsi burner for future use!
e)...Did my "Phew!

G)...Re-accessed my perspective of what
Quizno's taught me and what not to do in

F)...Say thanks folks at Wrongplanet. You are
great guys and gals, and when I find wifi options
I will ask who may want to be visited(Rattle!
Rattle! goes the ghostly chain upon you door!)
and might like a friendly "BooO!" from
"Your friendly ghost-Ghosthunter!"
Eeeeek! you might say! it's a ghost(hunter)

Hi everyone who may be viewing. I am at
Starbucks on Santa Clara Ave(elcamino by
another name) and San Pedro.
I am catching the Greyhound at 10pm so I
found this Starbucks. They are showing
"Psycho" ©60' in a free viewing on the street
in the San Pedro alleyway like street.
If it starts at 8pm I'll checkit out until 9:30pm!
Otherwise stay put until the bus leaves!
I will arrive in Reno by 6am. It will be the
red-eye bus. Why the red-eye bus?
Because it takes 8 hours and no traffic.
I once, only once caught a day time bus
and it took forrrreeeeevvvveeeerrrr!
The commute traffic in Sacramento is
rediculous! Then you have to deal with
the ickyness of Oakland. If you ever
saw Oakland from Bart(community
train that covers a large area) you would
understand.
The building are dingy, and to make matters
worse is when you go to downtown Oakland
you can cut the negativity with a proverberally
spoken butter knife.
I enjoy passing through San Francisco since
it has a beautiful view from a bus looking out
afar and long distance. It is living there that
I didn't like. Oh! Well! so much for postcard
images!
The Greyhound station in Sacramento is in
a scarry neighborhood! I has many lurking
corners called streets and the people who
hang around them make you want to stay
at the dingy and very unpleasant bus depot.
If you smoke you have to go into the far back
and feel like one of Larsens "Far Side-dinasours"
that were facing extinction in one of his humor
quips on their extinction and why.
Reno isn't bad! It has "DJ and Alex's" comics.
They are on 5th street. You go down 5th street
on my left and pass the Sand Casino. Afterwards
continue down and within a few blocks of 30's
style house you may see in old black-&-white
movie they are located. Their is a unpainted
picket fence and a almost paintless house
with a porch of days gone by. The house
is 2 stories and has alot of nooks and crannies
that a english muffin could be proud of.
Other wise their is a rumoured(unverified)
24 Starbucks miles down Virgina passed a few
freeways in the large shopping space that also
houses Border's, the only on in miles.
Otherwise, these are my main memories of
the place recently.
Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

/me waves.
Not sure how to answer this post, but I did PM
you. Hopefully the Greyhound isn't too crowded
and you can have two seats to yourself
Thanks for being brave to post to this ghostly
fellow, I guess I am not scarry enough????
Pyraxis, San Jose sucks, and this Starbucks sucks!
I came in expecting coffee, a chocolate chip
cookie(they had none-I settled for a lemon cake
slice, Sigh! Oh! well!
Venti-sized refillable icewater. I am here for
1.5 hours and have to use the restroom.
Hmmmmmm? Oooh! Sorry Sir, we don't have
a restroom! exclaims the barrista! Hmmmmm?
Try the 50's diner or Togo's on San Pedro were
they will eventually be showing a public(outdoor)
viewing of the original "Psycho". HMmmmPh!
Hufff! Grr!
Togo's on San Pedro I use their restroom and
find out they have Wifi! Cool! but... I have already
made my coffee, lemon cake(Ngggg! it's tolerable,
but no chocalate chip cookie), and Venti-water.
Hmmmmmmm?
I don't go to Berkley for this reason. They have
2 Starbucks and you have to use the Movie
Theatre restroom, and the public library restroom,
or McDonalds(Yeeeccccch!) restroom. HmmmmmPhh!
F#$%$##$# am I going to buy coffee here in the
first place-Hmmmmmmph!
In San Francisco, there are 2 near Kearn and
Montgomery that have no outlets and restrooms.
f#$#$#%$#%$^%^%^& and that is why I don't
even patronize them!
There are only a few Starbucks I will avoid, and this
San Jose one is on my s**t list!
GRrrrrrrr!4378748356938498353443232"#$#%@#$
Otherwise it is so far a relaxing trip! And thankyou
for PM'ing me! I hope you keep me some company
since I am still stranded here for 1.45 hours and
will not BEG $$#%^$^$^ FOR a #%$#$%#^
restroom!
Hmmmm?
Ghosthunter
P.S...At least I know that Togo's on San Pedro
will allow me to Wifi! Cool
It must suck to be an employee at that Starbucks though!
fellow, I guess I am not scarry enough????
Or else I just have a weird definition of fear.
I could oblige you by running away screaming from all that ectoplasm, would that spice up your evening a little?

I could oblige you by running away screaming from
all that ectoplasm, would that spice up your evening
a little? Of course, it would probably scare the Starbucks
workers more. Maybe that's what happened to their
cookies, they all got covered in ectoplasm and had to be
fed to the cats instead...
Here kitty-kitty Spluph1! and the barfing of ectoplasm
cat is spewing it on customers in disgust of "HOW DARE
YOU FEED ME THIS!" .
Hi! kitty, you need a restroom! there is the public
facility kitty box where people......(unmentionable)!
But seriously, hows it going in (insert state, were Fort ?)
is? Right now it is getting dark and who knows the
movie maybe starting soon!

Funny that you say that, because I took a Greyhound out of the 6th St. Station in San Francisco back in '85, and it after leaving Oakland it only took two hours to get to Sacramento, and then another 2 hours to get to Reno. Yeah, I noticed that the Sacramento Bus station is in Kinda nasty neighborhood.Luckily you could still smoke on Greyhound back then though.

Be careful with expecting Wifi access at Starbucks, particularly in smaller cities as you travel. Not all of them have it. I know for a fact that as of the time that I left Maine last year, NONE of the Starbucks above Boston had it. Also the two local Starbucks here in Columbia, SC have it either. That being said, it's not uncommon for coffeehouses to of FREE wifi access here. Best of luck in your travels.

Fascinating? Ghosthunters mind ponders!! !! !! !! !
They are now at the scene in "psycho" were
the lady takes flight with the money and
it is a really SMALL screen. Oh! well, what
do you expect for free.
I personally liked the film. Does anyone else
viewiing this thread like "Psycho" ©60'
the film. If not! What Black&White movie
is your particular favorite?

Words of warning about SC,
First off, this is the middle of the bible belt, and a VERY Conservative place. Secondly, this town is also where the Articles of Confederation were Enacted (The whole thing that started the Civil war). I'm still having a hard time with it after moving back to the south from Maine. I've Lived in the south for about ten years alltogeather, Charlotte and Raleigh, NC, and it was nowhere near as strange as this. It may be a nice place to visit, but.....not such a great place to live.
me eat roasted marshmallow! Uuuum!
yummy and that freshly toasted(Ooops!)
toasting(I toast slowly ) feeling!
no, but if they happen to find out that or suspect that you are homosexual, they will hurt you badly at the worst.
It can be a dangerous place.
