Hello
I recently read a post or two that claim massive links between serial k and Asperger Syndrome / ASD.
Although after close examination, i found that the source articles that made this bold statements and claims,
didn't appear to come from any credible source such as people who are highly qualified and experienced in criminal psychology, forensic science, the behavioural sciences, or even clinical psychology with a specialism for ASD.

So, the articles at the most appeared to be speculations from the authors, which included journalists.
As you know, Journalists are an interesting bunch who make a living out of writing articles that interest people.
What they write, similar to what Politicians write and say does not always compare with reality.

in short, in my opinion, a high percentage of the journalism profession write what they need to in order to get paid,
and are well known as a profession to do more than their share of bending the truth and perhaps more than their fair share of embellishing their stories in order to get their article brought and read, ultimately to make money for themselves. In fact, a fair amount of journalists have side lines writing for productions in the entertainment industry.

So.... my basic statement is should you believe all that you read?
well, if you were a historian, you would first check for the integrity of the source.
If the source has no credibility, then the article may not be of a high quality. Not saying that the info is definitely untrustworthy, but i wouldn't put money on the information being true.

Also, may i note, that for some impressionable people. To be given a label such as serial K,
may actually cause some people to feel excused to do bad things. So i do not think that a few badly sourced article
gives anyone licence to go out and murder.

Not saying that i think that human beings are born to be completely non violent, as i think that violence is perhaps built into our make up as a survival mechanism. but whether this gives us the right to be violent, that is questionable.

I think us people with ASD, do need low sensory low stress environments to live in, so we are protected and do not
get pushed to our limits (which is perhaps lower than the average) so as to prevent us from committing any crimes that we would perhaps not have committed if left to our own means in a protected low sensory low stress environment.

Not prison which is a high stress high sensory environment with lots of potential threats.
