Gabbard stunted on Harris in the debate (which I enjoyed), but that's not the end of Harris' candidacy let alone her career. People prematurely declared Warren dead after the DNA test debacle (I'm still amazed she recovered from that), and Biden dead after the first debate.

What are NPCs?

It's a gamer expression for "Non-player characters." NPCs in a lot of games have like 5 possible lines they can say depending on the situation, but go outside those pre-scripted situations and they still say the same things. Calling someone an NPC in real life implies they say the same 5 things regardless of situation.
