I always thought Meg Murry from Wrinkle in Time could have Asperger's. (In the original books, everyone but the twins seems on the spectrum)

IDK about Drax from GotG, I think his entire species is literal like that.

There's also this clay animated movie about an Australian girl who becomes pen pals with a man with Asperger's. The movie is called Mary & Max and is said to be based off a true story.

There's also Born Free. It's suspected real life Joy Adamson had Asperger's.

Rom-com time.

Grandma's Boy (1922)--Awkwardness, yes. Awesomeness? Eventually. And Mildred Davis (Mrs Lloyd) is cute in this one, as usual. (She and her husband Harold made a nice team in the movies.)
Girl Shy (1924)--About social settings, connecting with people, a hidden crime--and romance (eventually)
The Kid Brother (1927)--Just how big a lie would you conceal? How much empathy is too much? And would you dare to see how much trouble it could get you in?

I think Lloyd was autistic in real life but it was not known back then. They're visually beautiful films anyway, and Harold Lloyd was good at playing the characters he did (they tended to look and dress the same but he would add different mannerisms to each role.)

Girl Shy is good because of the ignorance and callousness he displays at the beginning, which comes from his fear--of what? I don't know. But watching his not-very-smooth journey to maturity is a nice thing to see on the screen and fro a lot of people very relatable.

I always thought Greg, Rowley and Fregley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid had some form of autism spectrum disorder. That's why I like reading the books and watching the movies so much, because I can relate to the boys and they remind me of my school days when I was a socially awkward outcast.

The only depiction I ever found accurate and relatable was on TV, in the original (Danish) The Bridge.

My favourite was made by the person who made "Gregory's Girl" and "Napolian Dynamite" and it was made in 1987 and is called "Housekeeping". Aunt Silvie defenately reminds me of a mix between my Mum and my Aunty who is my Mums sister. I believe if I am on the spectrum, probably my Mum is too.
Aunt Silvie does seem to have a uniqueness about her. She is probably an aspie. Quite an exciting lady to be around.

I guess the movie Rainman doesn't really count. (No pun intended because the autistic character in the movie was sure good at math!)

Dear John-there was an autistic boy named Alan and the lead character's father had definite Asperger traits.

This may be a stretch, but the portrayal of Roger Bannister in the movie Four Minutes suggested he might have been an extremely high-functioning person on the autism spectrum. He was extremely intelligent, shy, hated surprises and prized knowledge and, in essence, coached himself in running. He only enlisted the services of a coach to train for the 1954 Empire Games in Vancouver, Canada.

Not mentioned in the movie or by the filmmakers, but Steve Buscemi's character Seymour in Ghost World.

Of characters explicitly identified as autistic, Dakota Fanning's character Wendy in Please Stand By was probably the best, but that's not saying very much. Too often, autistic characters are always portrayed as hyperintelligent in math and science, which I am not and neither are most autistics I know.
