Angry people scare me

Is this normal? Anger is just a human emotion. But when people around me get angry I become scared and uncomfortable, much like a 5 year old. And I don’t mean when they’re angry at me. Just angry in general.

It's normal for me but I suspect PTSD.

Angry people also scare me with the expletives that they throw around like confetti.

They do make me wary even at my apathetically reckless states.

I could feel it. The red like aura and heat coming from them. Even if it's not directed at me.

I've scared many people with my anger. When being calm and rational doesn't make people listen to me (which is about 90% of the time), I resort to being the complete opposite.

They scare me as well, the other day a man got on the bus and started swearing and he threw his phone on the floor of the bus and broke it, it was scary for bus drivers as they can't do anything in case they get bashed.

They don't necessarily scare me but I can't stand them.

two minds- i have been spooked by pissed off people but at the same time some people just knew how to push my own buttons and drive me into a rage. so i can feel both sides of it.

Sometimes people come into the library and shout at each other, having loud, nasty cursing fights. It's scary when it happens just out of nowhere. The room goes from quiet to nearly exploding with their anger.

When people are angry around me or with me, my brain just kind of shuts down and I can't think. I've never fared well in customer service jobs for this reason.

Angry and violent people have scared me, but when they do it makes me feel like a big hypocrite. Like this one time when I was living in the group home and they temporarily moved in a man who had a lack of ability to control his aggression due to a head injury. I did not know this and got into a trivial situation where he jumped up and started cursing at me and it was frightening. It wasn't until afterwards that the staff explained to me about his condition but because I was afraid he'd really harm me they drove me to the nearby mall and I stayed there until the placed closed for the night and they had arranged for him to be taken somewhere else.

Considering all the times I had outbursts and rage attacks the year I lived at the group home where I'd damage and destroy things, including kicking a hole through a door, I feel like a hypocrite, even the man I mentioned was pretty large, tall and strong-looking. And even though I'd end up having to pay for the damages, I'd still do it, like I was incapable of learning not to do such things. I must really be a monster.

I would say it's normal but maybe there is something more underneath...?

Any specific form of anger we're talking about here? I suspect the classic violent, angry outbursts...

I grew up surrounded by angry man-children with short fuses so anger of such sorts doesn't really scare me like it used to

But boy does it rub off... I do sometimes think there are some sickos who get a kick out of spreading their negativity to others.
