I realize I don't know many of you that well, but I had a very sad situation occur recently.
I had heard in an interview from someone who I had seen on TV years ago that she understands the autism spectrum because she said she had cousins on it. She also admitted she had ADD.
I had been friends with her on Facebook and she had been posting statements that I don't approve of. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she understood the autism spectrum until now.
For those of you Americans who like children's game shows, I have bad news for you. The current version of Double Dare with Liza Koshy has been canceled by Nickelodeon.
I tried to inform my friend above about it, but she told me not to tell her or mention it again.
The thing is though, that she had a relationship with Marc Summers, the host, a while back because he appeared as a guest star on a show she hosted for a time. Marc Summers was involved in the new Double Dare because he was Liza Koshy's announcer. I informed her that Marc would be out of a job and she could collaborate with him on something sometime. However, she had watched the old Double Dare more than the new Double Dare. Interestingly enough, I sent her a video clip of the new Double Dare where Liza lost her voice and Marc hosted the show for a little while.
Granted, it was not Liza or Marc's fault that the show was canceled. It was Nickelodeon's fault because they scheduled the show very sporadically.
My female friend asked me if it was her problem. I said no, but I told her that she could collaborate with Marc in the future.
Finally, I was accused by one of her friends of being a troll. He is wrong on so many levels. Back before I took a break from the site, there was a lot of drama going on, and Alex began to suspect that I was a troll. Well, I've matured a lot and I've gained more empathy for people than most of you know.
My female friend has blocked me on Facebook per her male friend's advice. I am now engaged in a Twitter war with her. I apologized to her for my actions, but I also stated that for someone who claims to understand the autism spectrum, she is unpredictable.
She has since deleted my tweet, I have reported this and I have muted her on Twitter. She can still send me a direct message if she wants to reply to me.
Unfortunately, I haven't heard from Twitter about the situation, so I don't know what they're going to do about it.
Why would someone so genuine, who is so friendly with other people, lie to me?
