I know that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence but have we heard from any autistic who went through the program of Microsoft and it benefited them? Has anyone written on wrongplanet? Have they written about their experiences anywhere else even in articles like yahoo or something?
I tried applying to their program back in 2015.

After completion of the program, and depending on the fit, trainees are considered for employment with one of our corporate partners, once positions become available. Microsoft is one of our corporate partners.
The Microsoft Autism Pilot Program in Washington State began in May.
Many of the Microsoft positions were for experienced coders with strong skills with C# and C++. Bachelor and Master degrees level candidates were sought for these desirable roles. It is our hope to launch another Microsoft program in the coming months, and we will keep you in mind for the next round.
Specialisterne USA, also has programs in other locations across the nation and partner with other agencies and employers.
Specialisterne USA currently has activity in Pennsylvania, California, Delaware, North Dakota, Seattle and New York. We are also launching recruitment activities in Washington DC, Virginia, and South Carolina.

The Specialisterne USA staff
http://usa.specialisterne.com/ They want experienced coders. Even if I read the book, taught myself the languages or went to a class and got my certification they still want years of experience.
Honestly, do you think most autistics with our employment track record is going to have this? All microsoft will say is that they couldn't find a lot of people with the experience required.
In other words, it is a PR media stunt and they are full of s**t and so is Specialisterne.
They want to look like they're helping and doing good but really they want to make themselves look good. That's it.
