dish washing poll

wash dishes/utensils, or lick them clean routinely?
i always wash my dishes/utensils proper. :| 58%  58%  [ 32 ]

am i the only one here who licks their utensils and dishes clean, rather than washing them in the sink? :alien: i'm feelin' so disorganized and lazy. :eew: i just got tired of having dishes piled up in the sink for weeks, so i use just one, easier to keep the sink clean that way. :nerdy:

I lick clean the personal set I have on my desk. Although I actually did wash everything just the other day. But that is a rare occurrence.

Wash them in the sink. But not before I get to see what interesting life forms will grow on them first! :eew:

i useta have to put on something akin to a biohazard suit to wash mine.

I do lick my own plate and utensils and then clean them properly right after.

I use one of those things with the sponge on one side and the green scoury stuff on the other. Great all-purpose dishwashing equipment.
Except sometimes on the oven trays, I have to use a metal scouring ball thing (I never know the right names for things), to get off the sticky greasy stuff and burnt bits.
But the trays still turn black after a while, I'm not that committed :)

I thought nowadays everyone (except me) had a dishwasher. Dishwashing machine, that is. Although a personal human dishwasher might be fun to have, too.

I sometimes lick my plate clean if I've enjoyed the meal so much (not in public though), but I still wash them up before I eat off of them again.

anybody here ever gone off out of sight in a corner somewhere with their dish so they could lick it clean out of sight of prying eyes?

Yeah, me too.

single-handedly, i could get the damned things washed and dried before the dishwasher could even be loaded.

I don't think I've ever had a kitchen big enough, and I only know a couple of people who have one. According to Google it's about 50/50 here in the UK (and when I typed "what proportion of UK households have a", the first autocomplete word was; "dishwasher"!)

I'm another one who will sometimes lick my dish but then clean it properly before re-using it. I'm paranoid about getting GI illnesses.
