How to handle "Heart Horniness"?

Sometimes I get "heart horny" and I get really sentimental about things. It's like a pit in my stomach that longs for something to be filled in it. I feel like a half that desires to be whole. All things are good in moderation, so when should I cut off my feelings, and how?
