I recently discovered that there is an opposite to prosopagnosia (face blindness) and it's called being a "super recogniser". There are a bunch of tests but this is the most in depth that I've found. It takes about 10 minutes. Post your scores below.

91/114 --- I was completely guessing for the last Part, so either I unconsciously recognize faces, or I scored well enough beforehand.

I got 79/114. I had my wife take it too, she got 100/114.
A while back I took many similar tests as a participant in a prosopagnosia study for Susilo Lab, and by the end of the series I had started scoring significantly better than I did at the start, because I'd learned to intently study only one feature for every face, usually eyebrow shape. In real life, however, if a person changes their hair color or shows up in a place I didn't expect to see them, I'll still fail to recognize them.

I got 68/114. I think I was doing OK withe the earlier pictures in the test, mostly by focusing on the mouth shape. But the later ones defeated me completely. I was just guessing randomly for those.

I think it said 50 and below indicates prosopagnosia.

The first few lots were OK, but really struggled with the latter ones.

"Thank you for completing the study. You got 100/114. If you would like to take part in other face-memory studies, then please do let us know. We would be particularly interested if you scored over 100/114 since you might be a super-recognizer or if you got a low score and think you might have prosopagnosia."

:O
I thought I did much worse! Completely surprised by that score.

Better than I thought since the last two sections were literally all just random guesses!

That last section (or two) was overwhelming.

Did anyone else feel panicked taking this quiz? Looking at so many faces made me feel very uneasy.
