Do you think any of them are still alive?

My grandmother died in July 1997 of breast cancer aged 67.

I looked back at some old photos of my grandma from 1994/1995 with her friends. all of her friends seemed elderly in the pictures.

Do you think the chances are all her friends are probably dead by now?

WOW I find that surprising. But I bet some them must be nearing towards 100 now.

That's like 25 years ago. Many people happen to live till their 90s.

And some people look pretty old when they're pushing 60. But they're healthy, despite looking "old."
