Got into a really big fight with my mom so I asked my brother if I can stay with him and he said yes. I REALLY hope I dont screw this up. I'm so fed up with how my mom treats me!

He lives in the same town. I'm just worried because I have bipolar disorder and I need my medicine and I don't know what to do if my meds run out...

He has a baby and a girlfriend too.

But dammit I just can't take my mom treating me this way anymore.

I’m not sure if you’ve ever had one, but a case worker could help you get services you need, perhaps even housing of your own.

Take your meds with you. To refill, call the pharmacy on the label several days before you run out and ask for a refill.

I'll take my meds and I'll ask my brother if he can help me find a caseworker.

Also, your doctor should be able to point you in the right direction as far as case management goes. You could probably also call the number on your insurance card.

I had case management for awhile, and it was really helpful!

One problem is my doctors are 200 miles away in Pensacola, Florida. How do I handle them being in another state when I cant even drive?

How did you manage before?
I'm not familiar with healthcare in the US but can you transfer to someone closer?

I've been living with my mom my whole life and she always managed my doctors appointments to get my medicine.

I used to live in Florida but I moved back to Georgia.

A lot to figure out. You probably need to talk it out with your brother. You need your medicine and you need to secure it.

My mom said she would transfer my check over to my brother.

But she also threatened to take our animals over to the humane society to be put down. She will saying anything to guilt me...

I'm tired of the emotional abuse. I really am...

If my brothervir sister wont help me then I guess I have no choice but to be homeless.
