i guess our whole world is but a bunch of competing tribes. brotherhood of man will have to wait until a future iteration of humanity or whatever replaces us when we self-destruct.

I've said before aliens wouldn't touch humans with a barge pole as we have not really evolved that far from the primeval mud

^^^twas a fella named Zecharia Sitchin who maintains that ET messed with cavemens' genes in order to make present-day homo-sapiens. they were only half-successful, making us a semi-intelligent slave race but failing to take away our fatal flaws.

I think if you follow the "intelligent design" model but replace god with aliens then it's likely a balance between natural selection processes and occasional intervention to introduce GM hybrids.

Ironically a similar theme underpins the Maze runner books....

Quote:
The top media executive at Hallmark Cards will leave the Kansas City-based company later this month, weeks after a controversy over advertising on The Hallmark Channel.

Quite farcical that Abbott has been pressured to feel he should leave. He has done nothing wrong.

And these backwards puritans have gone totally nuts over TV the past week. Between the Hallmark thing and the One Million Moms going totally ballistic over some guy saying "damn" in a Burger King commercial, and with the possibility of an interim Pence presidency should Trump be removed from office, we're going to crap.

Some states still have dry counties, thus, are stuck in the 1920s.
