Powerade is just watered-down, stale Gatorade.

There are various forms of Gatorade.

The purpose of Gatorade is to replace the losses in fluids and electrolytes in sweat from a workout. Gatorade G2 does that but is not loaded with sugar (and carbs) and as a result is a much better drink.

I don't drink either. It's probably better to just drink water instead.

Drinking water is not bad. When my mother got old, she was not eating or drinking enough and lost a lot of electrolytes and as a result her health suffered. We filled her fridge with gatorade to help solve the problems. Sometimes you need a little boost.

I only like lemon-lime Gatorade, no kind of Powerade that I've tried.

I don't like it, too sweet.

For hydration I prefer plain water or the flavored seltzer water that's not sweetened, that stuff is great all the bubbles of a soda but without all that gross sweetness.

The aforementioned beverages contain high levels of sodium, which can be harmful if abused. Therefore, I hardly drink them. It's been eighteen months since I last drank any "Ades".

Gatorade is the one I like best among those two but any of the "clone" brands are fine by me (as long as I don't drink any of them way too often).
