Anyone get this when surfing internet for too long?

I get so absorbed in it that i dont realise how bad my mental state is. Its not depression or a breakdown, its just a really unpleasant foggy / frozen mental sensation.

Anyone else get this, is it an autistic thing?
what is it?
how do you cope?

It depends on what you're reading.

If it's a lot of clickbait, sensationalistic hyperbole, then I find it easier to read between the lines or just completely ignore it.

The majority of such articles are heavily biased with dogmatic tactics, and I find the best way to deal with these (if their "facts" bother me) is to research both sides of the story and draw to my own conclusion.

Although in hindsight, my conclusions are most likely wrong, I have found it better to cope this way then to simply absorb everything that I read and take as gospel. As in the past, impartial absorbing has exacerbated my anxiety and depression.
