Kazakh poachers get life for killing ranger

A Kazakh court today sentenced three poachers to life in prison for killing a ranger who tried to stop them from killing a Saiga antelope,a case which drew national attention.

The court said the three men had assaulted two rangers who pursued them in january of 2019,one of the rangers died from his injuries.

The defendants left the badly wounded 52 year old ranger Yerlan Nurgaliyev,and his partner alone and took there car keys.
