my husband bought himself a guitar cheap from a secondhand shop cos he wanted to try learn to play
Im not into musical instruments much but i had a go anyway but
but anyway my husband and his stupid mate made fun of me and they know i cant handle teasing or joking and cut a long story short i it sent me into meltdown mode and i got angry and threw the guitar across the room and it broke
my husband soon stopped laughing then and he shouted WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???

i just got angry im autistic and i cant always deal with these situations my husband should know that then his guitar wouldnt of got broke

I’ve done similar, although not in the same situation: that sounds very painful to endure

(Thinking mode engaging)

Assuming it’s an acoustic guitar those do come up in charity shops relatively often, and music shops also buy and sell second hand instruments: it shouldn’t be impossible to find another, maybe even a better one if you’re lucky.

Doesn’t really seem fair to laugh and joke at anyone struggling with a guitar when they don’t play it tbh.
I play guitar (classical) and it’s not as friendly an instrument to get to grips with as it can look: quite the reverse in fact!
