If my life were a cartoon this would be the movie

I've seen the Simpsons and South Park movies where life gets a bit out of hand and some serious, drastic event happens that disrupts their lives.

So if my life was a cartoon with different problems and events that come and go in my life as the "episodes", this world pandemic and the uncertainty of it would make an excellent movie version.

You know what I'm saying?

I mean it does kind of feel like being stuck in a movie. I have never seen a pandemic like this in my lifetime I have only ever really seen things so crazy as this portrayed in movies so of course now it kind of feels like one. But even some of what was going on politically seemed kinda crazy but now everything is even crazier.

But of course this pandemic thing with the political drama that has been going on immeaditly before could certainly make for a good movie.

When you turn on the tube it does feel like you're watching something like "Sharknado": which pointed the camera at TV screens in which you would see familiar real talking heads (like Al Roker, and Matt Lauer) delivering news, but delivering preposterous news.

Or the noncomic sci fi thrillers that used quick cuts of newscasters reporting events from around the world. The "Triffids", an Eighties British made for TV show about man eating trees attacking the planet, was one of the first to use that technique that I recall.

If this were a cartoon movie a hero or group of heroes would save the world. But there aren't any heroes and we won't be saved.

When I was a kid I thought the future would be like The Jetsons. I can't imagine traveling back in time and having to tell my past self that instead of having robots doing our housecleaning and traveling around in space cars, we're trying to teach grown adults how to wash their hands and having wars break out over toilet paper.

Life feels more like one of those horror-themed anime movies. Western movie animation aimed at an adult audience is still mainly comedy-based. But man!! A lot of anime is more horrifying than most western live-action horror movies.

"a Confederacy of dunces" a book just like my "life"
