I plan on sitting outside on the patio and enjoy it.Dogwoods are blooming so they will glow in the moonlight.

Wish I have better glasses and less cloudy view last night. :|

The rest of my family is out looking at it through binoculars right now - apparently if you do that you can see the Appolo 11 landing site. I tried, but it was so bright it felt like the light was stabbing into my eyes, so I couldn't make out much past that. Nice to enjoy with just my eyes while I was taking my dog for his evening walk, though.

I take it the pink part of this supermoon took place at moonrise? If so I missed it.

/\It’s named for the wildflowers that bloom at this time.

thanks! I was wondering about the pink. At rise it was a beautiful pale gold. Turned to silver when I looked away. Never saw pink.

My husband told me to go and look at the big moon and I thought it looked really white only to hear them calling it "pink" on the telly. Glad to find out why!

Unfortunately it was cloudy and raining last night where I am so I wasn’t able to see it.

It's not much different than a regular full moon in my opinion.

It was beautiful here, one of the lilacs was blooming so it smelled nice and the toads were trilling.
White clouds of dogwood blooms and a few early fireflies.
