I was rediagnosed to Schizotypal Personality Disorder, but I feel like I have vestiges of Asperger's still.

How is SPD similar and different?

Could I still have a dating relationship and eventually marry?

Could I get life insurance with it?

And is there a forum about SPD like how WP is a forum about ASD? How popular is it?

How many people with SPD use WP? I hope I'm not the only one?

How much potential do I have education-wise and career-wise with SPD?

And why did they decide to rediagnose me?

SPD and AS have a lot of overlapping symptoms. As currrent psychiatric diagnostic standards are symptom-based, they can be easily confused with each other.
AS is something one is born with. Personality disorders are developed. One can have both but due to overlapping of symptoms, dual diagnosis is unlikely.
Personality disorders can be treated with therapy and hopefully overcome. Autistic traits are intrinsic and what one can do is learn to manage them in ways that improves one's quality of life.
If you have both, it is important to learn to tell which symptom comes from which - what part of your "abnormality" is a mental illness and what part is just yourself. E.g. social anxiety can come from attributing neutral people hostility towards you (mental illness) or it may be a sign you need a lot more alone time (your true need).

You are most welcome to stay on WP and share your experiences.

I saw a video about this from a therapist on youtube who legit had me thinking I was a schizoid :'D I was diagnosed ASD years ago so I'm not too worried about all that and plus the reason why I don't like people was brought on and not just there.

I am diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and schizotypal disorder since five years (with a break for schizophrenia diagnosis (without AS)). I also have OCD. I was not diagnosed with schizotypal personality disorder from DSM, but schizophrenia-type disorder from ICD-10. It is a mental illness like schizophrenia, persistent delusional disorder or schizoaffective disorder (all are in the same category in ICD (F2x), personality deisorders are in the beginning of F6x). F21 with which I was diagnosed is like personality disorder which is severe (I read that schizoid, schizotypal and borderline are severe personality disorders on certain Polish forum). It is similar to a PD, but it is something more. It is like schizophrenia or delusional disorder with (more) insight in my case. I have completely crackpot ideas. And I am very peculiar, more than "standard" Aspie. I received my AS diagnosis in special centre associated with autism in 2008. I walked to day hospital (Polish: oddział dzienny) four times for about 12 weeks and always I was diagnosed with Asperger's and schizotypal after such a going.
