That would depend on the woman.  You would have to ask her to find out.

Assuming both people are adults, they say you can date someone half your age, plus seven years.

In your case if you are 30 you can date someone 15+7=22, meaning they were born in 1997 or 1998.

That doesn't mean anyone of that age would necessarily be interested, though. Ask her and see.

One of my friends who is 29 has recently married a girl who is 27. But then that’s only a 2 year age difference......

My current beau is 7 years older, and my previous was 14 years older. I've never dated anyone my own age.

My belief is younger women get more hung up on age difference than older women do.

I was 17 when I met my first boyfriend who was almost 23.

It's fine Jamesy, 3 years isn't a big gap.

That's only a few years, I don't see the issue.
I've been on dates with men 14+ years older... I mean, we had almost nothing in common aside from music, but I don't think three years is gonna make that big of a difference.

I agree, my wife is three years younger than I and we have been married for over 45 years.

Obviously that depends on how old you are to begin with, the older you are the less you worry about an age gap in my experience.

You wrote you were born in 1989, which means you are the same age that I was when I met my 4-years-younger husband.

The age difference has never been a problem for us. It is so small, it feels like it's not there at all. We remember the same things from our childhood.

My wife is six years older than me: there’s only been one minor issue which was she wasn’t happy when her hair started going grey before mine, but since white hairs have started coming through in my beard that has not been mentioned.

(well, she did try teasing me about being an “old man now” but it didn’t work because I’m not bothered by it in the slightest  )

The guy being four years older than the gal? That's actually pretty standard.

Where I'm from it's not uncommon for girls in their teens & early 20s to go for guys a lot older than them.

There were 13 years between my last ex and myself. We had some stuff in common even if being part of different generational cohorts made other references and whatnot quite different.
