I feel like I'm going crazy. This shouldn't be happening. This is so f***ed up. How could we be dealing with a virus that in some cases you have no symptoms, making things that much worse for us!?!

I was driving around in rural areas the other night, just for the sake of getting out of the house. It was nice out. And it reminded me of the things that we won't be having this summer.

People everywhere having to resort to video calls with their friends and family, even if they live close to each other. The virtual doctor and therapy appointments. Even though some counties here in Iowa are relaxing some social distancing(that term sounds so f***ed up as well)guidelines, there's the possibility of cases spiking. It makes me angry, it's all welled up in me and it's very painful.

Thanks for not responding, everybody! I had a really difficult weekend and I wish I had gotten more support from people on here. It's actually been that way with a lot of my past posts in general on here. I don't understand why my posts get little to no response at all. I've never seen that happen with other users, on this many occasions.

I've been busy working on the garden to relieve the stress of working full time from home. At least it pays well.
The azaleas are starting to bloom.

It's OK to feel angry and stressed about this. It's a form of trauma that we all experienced, even if we normally stay indoors and we don't feel directly affected. It's a huge problem with a lot of implications and it's very scary on many levels. I'm glad you reached out to let us know. I'm sorry I only saw this now.

Please realise that all your efforts to stay home and stay safe may have helped thousands of people.

You've done a good thing, and this too shall pass.

Not many people respond to threads I start, either.

I bet Iowa will open up thoroughly by June 1st.
