Getting irritated with whoever you're quarantined with.

In my case, my nuclear family, who I don't have the best relationship with anyways. Coronavirus is making everyone stressed and irritable, and there's tons of fighting and commotion in the house. My brother swears at the top of his lungs when he livestreams virtual chess at 4 am in the morning, my parents are always complaining. My sensory issues are getting much worse, and it feels like I never have a spare moment of peace and quiet.

How do you not despise the people you're constantly cooped up with?? Everyone in my house is getting on everyone else's nerves.

Ugh.

Compatibility, I guess.

My mom and get along very well and very seldom fight, and have no problems being around each other.

My dad and I have a less good relationship and he can be really annoying (to both of us actually but she's more tolerant of his crap than I am), but it's no worse now than it usual is, because none of us are the type of people who go out more than we need to, so we're always around each other a lot.
This really isn't much different from our regular life, other than the fear of the virus (all in at risk groups).

I can only suggest that you do your own thing as much as you can. Stay in your room more if that's an option.
Also, wouldn't it be possible for your parents to talk to your brother? It doesn't seem necessary to be screaming at 4 am. If you live in a flat, your family might get complaints too.

This is one of the reasons why they're lifting some of the outdoor restrictions in the UK, because many people need some space from the people they live with.

Me and my boyfriend love each other very much but we live in a small apartment and it's getting to a point where we need some time apart, and I don't mean just going into another room for an afternoon but I mean actual time apart (seeing our own friends and families).

I've got to wear earplugs a lot because his smokers cough is so loud it hurts my ears or annoys me. I struggle to have sympathy because of the fact that he smokes, which is causing him to have a constant chesty cough.
Also he doesn't do much, just dozes off throughout the day with the TV on.
I sometimes wish I had a private garden to retreat to, not a communal car park but an actual private garden with beautiful flowers and trees and privacy.

Yep, I'm getting so desperate now to do all the things I used to love doing; shopping, eating out, going to the beach, seeing friends and family, gardening with my dad, and just enjoying life and making the most of the summer.

Yeah. Like it's gotten to the point where I just want to be able to go to my room, shut the door, and be alone. But I'm still gonna have to deal with yelling, slamming of doors, squabbling, dogs barking... and like ugh. I need some peace and quiet.
