okay so there is something happening as have discovered regardless of pleas to mods and checking board settings repeatedly . There now seems a class of persons several in fact have gotten no aide in getting WP to send normal notifications to certain people . Constituting a Class of PPL whom are not able to participate in normal timely activities on WP . Similiar to being incommuniqado , as if on wrong side , the dark side if the Moon . The Planetery Gulag ? With the overwelming situation of Covid 19 , this would seem to be a primary thing to address in the interest of the Good Health of this Entire Planetary inhabitants / denizens , of Wrong Planet . If Anyone can supply info as to why this is occuring . Please enlighten myself and others in identical Situations here . Any Thoughts Please.

The lack of notifications seems to be affecting everybody.

Please be patient and try not to take it personally.

You’re not a “second class citizen” of WP, Jakki.

I've never requested notifications for anything since the day I joined WP. I just log in, look around, and read what I want to read. I think it would drive me nuts to have constant email notifications every time someone writes something.

I think I do a pretty good job of keeping up with threads and conversations without any type of notification.

I know people miss them, but you might notice it's quite peaceful keeping it shut off.

I believe I set several threads where I've posted to 'notify'. Notifications stopped a couple of weeks ago, I believe.

Seems to be a 'global' issue with WP.

Going to test again and check the box on this post.

It's funny to see how many people are "tardy to the party", when the answer was given already.

Notification worked for me. Let's see what happens if I reply again without checking the box...
