Sly. Someone can have a very different political oppinion and yet still be friends. Politicians can be best of friends even though their political beliefs can be very different. Religious leaders can be great friends even though their religious beliefs can be entirely different.

Friendship can thrive because there are differences, as if every aspect of both people lives were to be the same, then they would have nothing to talk about!

Don’t think we’ve interacted enough to justify the word “friend”, but I have no ill-will towards you.

I certainly wouldn’t regard the fact we are on different sides of the aisle, politically speaking, to be a reason for us not to show friendly goodwill towards each other.

We all need to be more tolerant of difference.

We may be poles apart in some perspectives but you are cherished from this end.

Despite my involvement in some political debates in this site, I'm not really into politics much. Although I DO have my concerns on what's going on in America.

If you're just as 'weird' as I am, then perhaps I'll be your friend.

Given your political leaning I could never be friends with you . I don't hate you, or wish you any harm though.

I'm happy to be friends with anyone...Whether they would wish to be associated with me is a different matter.

I may, however, draw the line were it to come to people who are not willing to enter a debate and listen to all sides without name calling, or allegations of certain behaviour without providing justification for the claims, but I haven't noticed any of that from you.
