I guess people have been either too inconsiderate Or too stupid to just do it on their own, so now it’s become law.

I think the lack of social distancing and mask wearing in the US is causing the virus to make a reappearance. Not that it ever went away entirely, but too many states opened up too soon in my opinion. I don't have a problem with mandatory masks at all.

My state met the criteria.

Wear it round your neck or on your arm? No rule that says where you wear your facemask.
(I am joking of course, but if you happen to be a bank robber, easy to mingle in withother facemask wearers!

Massachusetts already has this,I wear my mask all the time.

There is a penalty named, but will they actually enforce it this time? The governor has said from the beginning "Do this" / "Don't do that", but then there was only token enforcement of anything.

I'm seeing more people wearing masks right now, but I think it's because the stores are more open now and they are requiring masks (i.e., when the government said to wear one, most people say forget it. But Best Buy won't let me in without one? Ok, I will comply).
