Food reactions that cause mood changes/swings?

Can any others relate to having severe reactions to foods--in the mood/brain-function sense-NOT in the usual sense of a severe allergy (e.g. something like anaphylaxis)? I also don't mean mild fluctuations due to general nutritional balance, like feeling less energy when you have a less substantial breakfast. I mean that on the right day, a few crumbs of the wrong food can take you "from 0 to 60 in 5 minutes" in terms of mood, whether it be rage, restlessness, panic attacks, or even euphoria?
Here's a description that I relate to really well: http://camoo.freeshell.org/hypo.html
