Quote:
Mitchell Carlson is accused in a police search warrant application of being a Hell’s Angels biker who may be the notorious so-called “Umbrella Man” authorities believe purposely incited violence in Minneapolis by breaking windows at an AutoZone store after the death of George Floyd. He has not been charged with a crime but is under investigation, the application reveals.

The application further accuses Carlson, who is a Minnesota man per his criminal history, of being a “full-fledged member of the Hell’s Angels” biker gang and a “known associate of the Aryan Cowboys” who police believe was purposely trying to stir up racial discord after Floyd’s death. Police described the Aryan Cowboys as “a known prison gang out of Minnesota and Kentucky.”

The Anti-Defamation League describes the Aryan Cowboy Brotherhood as “a small white supremacist prison/street gang based primarily in Minnesota and Kentucky. Its main symbol consists of a helmeted and winged skull with the initials ACB.”

Carlson’s full name is Mitchell Wesley Carlson. Heavy obtained the application for a search warrant from the Hennepin County court system. You can read it in full here. Ever since a viral video emerged of the black-clad, gas-mask wearing Umbrella Man systematically breaking windows before wide-scale looting and arson fires broke out in Minneapolis, speculation has raged about his identity, with some on social media arguing from the start that he was an outsider trying to incite a riot, not a member of Antifa.

Now it emerges that Minneapolis police believe Carlson might be the Umbrella Man. Erika Christensen, a Minnesota peace officer, made the application for a warrant to search premises and property, including cell phone calls and texts. She was also seeking the cell phone towers that Carlson’s cell phone was “pinging off of.”

Even more proof that Boogs are intentionally trying to stir up violence for their race war fantasies.

There is no evidence at all.

There is only one police officer's speculation.

Hopefully, the judge does not grant the warrant.

Since no facial features can be seen and gloves were worn, why is someone focusing on this guy?
And, I thought that Hells Angels could not belong to any other organization.
Need more information.

But I thought Antifa didnt have members, and also doesn't actually exist? How would you determine non-membership from membership here? Antifa isn't an organisation and doesn't have members, but this guy super isn't a member?

Also, are we supposed to see similarities from those two photos?

Are we still pretending the window breaker had anything to do with ANTIFA despite no evidence to support that claim?

While the police might not have released all of the information they have on this guy if he was dumb enough to have a cell phone on him they can make a solid enough case even if he's not able to be identified in the pictures. I anticipate that more details will emerge once he's been charged.

According to the article
"authorities believe purposely incited violence in Minneapolis by breaking windows at an AutoZone store after the death of George Floyd. He has not been charged with a crime but is under investigation, the application reveals."

I watch plenty of crime investigations on TV and this suggests the authorities know its him but they don't want to i) reveal their sources in order to protect them (snitching on far right groups is generally a death sentence) and ii) reveal intel that might be critical to their case in order to catch his henchmen.

There are plenty of far right groups who have in their manifesto to "create a race war". The George Floyd riots were a perfect opportunity for these groups and/or individual members to infiltrate the crowds and cause mayhem in order to swing public opinion against BLM and African Americans. Its a miracle not more police were killed by these boogs so they could pin it on their enemies.

To suggest that far righters have "honour" and wouldn't do this is a bit of a joke. These cowards never take on anybody unless they are acting covertly or if the numbers are in their favor. If they get caught on camera and their ID is splashed on the media they cry like pathetic babies.

Either way, not really material to the questions I asked.

Not sure that it is the same person...Best picture I could find of the face of the "Umbrella man" doesn't seem to match the person photographed above:
Image

The spacing of the eyes (and to a degree how "open" they appear) seems wrong, for a start (although this could also just be my inability to recognise faces...).

And, as I was about to post, this image popped up:
Image

Again, while similar, I'm not entire certain it's the same person, but as previously noted, faces and my eyes\brain don't always work well together.

What I can see of his face - which admittedly isn't much - looks awfully similar. Plus the suspect is a jackhole white nationalist with insane dreams of starting a race war.

As I said, I'm not too good with faces...It just looks to me like the angle from his nose around to the top of his eyes is different (there is a distinct "angle" in the picture on the left, whereas that on the right seems more "flat", particularly on the eye to the right as shown in these pictures), but the different angles in the pictures, along with my "ability" (or lack thereof) to recognise faces probably doesn't help.

Anyone know what Carlson's tattoo says?

Some 14/88 crap perhaps?

I'm not great with cursive, but if that last one is supposed to be a "C", then it's his own initials. A sure sign of a profound depth of character, I'm sure.
