If Paramount is so desperate to fast track a GF Part IV against the wishes of Francis Ford Coppola, what could be done is to ask FFC for all the recommendations he can think of who may be worthy of helming a GF Part IV.

Martin Scorsese almost got the GF Part II gig, so IMO, Paramount should just give GF Part IV to Scorsese and get a potential GF Part IV movie over with.
