I hardly watched TV and movies til the pandemic.

In my youth (late teens early 20s) I was a bit smug about it cos of the whole 'TV rots your brain' propaganda. Then I just hadn't got into the habit. Internet was more my thing.

Now I watch it about as much as my parents. Never during the day but a few shows a week in the evening and/or a movie a week in the evening.

I'm loving catching up on stuff. Mostly spec fic (sci fi/horror/fantasy).

I'm avoiding talking about certain series and shows with people cos I feel like they'll be snobby or just expect me to be further ahead than I am. Or they'll make spoilers by mistake.

I wonder if any of these things are aspie things:
1 Not watching the same TV/movies as everyone else
2 Not watching as much TV/movies as everyone else
3 Loving spec fic (I can't stand stuff like reality TV where they push a standard onto people which is all around being shallow and 'normal'. I love the questions spec fic poses and the types of 'person')
