There's a term that can be used to describe when a parent or sibling acts like they understand how difficult having autism can be, despite being completely neurotypical. Such as them saying that it's hard for them, having to take care of you, so they understand your pain.

Do any of you know what I'm talking about?

"Condescension"?

"Deceit"?

"Dismissal"?

"Lying"?

No, I though it was 'ableism', but that's just discrimination against the disabled.

"Placating"?

That's when you'll say anything to get someone to calm down and cooperate.

Patronizing.

Unless the parents are being snarky, in which case the word would be mor in line with fnord’s suggestions.
