There is a chance I might buy something online if it's something I want or need & I see a good deal or if it was something I was gonna buy anyway I might purchase it then. I guess there's also a chance I might go to Walgreens &/or the local grocery store(they're both next to each other) if I need something but me going there will have nothing to do with Black Friday.

I'll look for some Christmas presents. Possibly new furniture, too, since I moved recently.

Maybe.  I might run out of salt or cooking oil or something like that...

Much easier to find the few odds and ends I want online. I am not being fooled by the high street retailers claims of the prices being a "good deal" because often what they have on offer is not a new model, they've just bought a load of the old cheap and make it look like they're a good buy.

Black Friday is the worst. I avoided it like I do every year. But I do find it freaking hilarious that many Americans spent the day before saying they were thankful for the things they already *do* have.

No!

And sometimes there are 'verkaufsoffene Sonntage' (normaly sunday shops are closed in my country, but some sundays there is a shopping event on sundays) which I boykott, too.

I think I hate shopping on normal day and even more when it try to be a 'activity', which is weird for some people  but that's not my problem.

What Black Friday?

I only know a Good Friday and a Black Saturday.

And it's one of the best of days of the year (if it happened to be on that particular year) because it involves a nationwide scale of observed silence. :P

It depends on how good sales are. All online shopping, of course. I'm sure I'll end up buying something just because I want to make sure packages arrive well before Christmas day so I have time to get everything wrapped and under the tree.

I might be getting a macro lens for my camera. I have always been interested in getting one, but I am a student with no money. My parents are giving me a bit of money as its Christmas so, I am looking into it.

Black Friday is a bargain shopping day in the U.S. People would stand in line for hours to chase bargains. Some lines wrapped around stores. Prices were ridiculously low and quantities were very limited. Some stores would open at midnight. It is fueled by bargains and also because this was a perfect timing for many people to buy Christmas presents for their loved ones.

I suspect that this year, Black Friday will not take place except on-line due to the coronavirus.

A few years ago I think it was, some phsyical stores started including Thanksgiving day as part of Black Friday so Black Friday would be for two days. This year some phsyical stores are doing a weeks worth of sales & deals instead of just having em for one or two days.
